I am a native of Los Angeles and began my career in dentistry as a dental assistant. After almost a decade of working and learning about dentistry I became interested in continuing my education and pursuing my dream of becoming a dental hygienist. House of Delegates

Sacramento 2022

In my junior year I had the privilage of being elected CDHA representative by my fellow classmates. I had the opportunity to travel to Sacramento for the House of Delegates yearly meeting and was even elected as one of the two voting student delegates. That meant I was able to vote on some bylaws and decisions including voting for cabinet positions in the California Dental Hygienist Association. This distinction was a great opportunity to meet fellow dental hygiene students from all around California and listen to their ideas and progressive thoughts to make decisions for voting as their representative. Pictured is our class President Paul Kim and Vice President Joan Pham who also joined in support of learning about delegation in California from this professional organization we are a part of. They have become great colleagues and friends, which I am grateful for.
